It is always difficult to choose just a few for this blog, so here is a 'small' selection of some of my favorites from that beautiful day.

The preparation

…the guys arrive…

…and on to the ceremony.

Sometimes a little help is needed :)

A happy ending to a perfect day!

A Paddle Through Industrial Old Buffalo –

It's undeniable and irresistible ~ the sweet, yummy aroma of toasty oat cereal wafting through the city air lets you know your exact location, even with your eyes closed!

This rusting old building, complete with the only remaining tile elevator in Buffalo, still stands tall on Kelly Island at the edge of the Buffalo River.
It started in 1903 as the Washburn Crosby flour milling company, then became General Mills in 1928.

A long time ago, the grain elevators dominated the skyline of Buffalo's waterfront and was a symbol of it's industrial importance as the largest supplier of grain in the world, after the opening of the Erie Canal in 1825.

Yes, that is sand, but it is far from a beach of any kind.

The Skyway and the First Niagara Center – home of the Sabres.

How could you not be inspired?

My version of a "selfie".
