Our young, talented, always positive and smiling neighbor is very sick now, very far from home. I haven't dry mounted a photo since college so I was surprised to find that the art store had no Spray Mount! Using sheet adhesive, I tried very hard to make this perfect so I could mail a little piece of the Island to her.
The Hawaiian phrase means
From the sun's arrival to the sun's rest
and suggests rest and renewal, rather than permanent departure.
Update: Sita never did get to see the photo I made for her. We will miss her smiling face and note-taking at the Board meetings!
